The Attorneys at Campbell and Furneisen Law are passionate about the practice of law and the representation of their clients. It is our goal to seek justice, protect what is rightfully deserved, and to better our community. Bridget and Ivette’s diverse backgrounds allow them to handle a variety of complex legal matters. We strive to competently represent the people of the Eastern Shore of Maryland and the surrounding areas. The best interest of our clients comes first. Enhancing the community is important to Campbell and Furneisen Law, thus we each serve on the boards of non-profit organizations.

Bridget Mahoney Campbell’s journey in the legal field began with her graduation from Washington College in 2012, where she also obtained her paralegal certificate from Villanova University. Her early career saw her working diligently as a paralegal in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, before her passion for law led her to pursue a Juris Doctorate, which she earned from Villanova School of Law in 2017.
Returning to her roots in Chestertown, Maryland, Bridget began her legal career, representing clients on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Her deep understanding of the intricacies of the law and her unwavering commitment to her clients’ needs have been the hallmark of her practice. This dedication culminated in the founding of Campbell & Furneisen Law in 2024, where Bridget, alongside Ivette Furneisen, continues to provide expert legal counsel.
Bridget’s approach to law is centered around her clients, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and well-represented in all legal matters. Her commitment to providing exceptional legal services makes her a trusted ally for those navigating complex legal issues.

Ivette is a member of the Bar Association of the Maryland state Bar Association (MSBA), District of Columbia, American Bar Association (ABA), Maryland Hispanic Bar Association (MHBA), the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association.
Ivette is also a board member at the Foundation for the Kent County Public Library and a member of the Chestertown Tea Party Festival.
Ivette Furneisen, a native of Spain, received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Barcelona Law School.
While in Law School, Ivette was a Student Representative and an International Representative, where she attended national and international youth congresses, developing policy recommendations on global issues for the European Parliament.
After becoming a United States Citizen, Ivette received her Master’s Degree in U.S. Law from George Mason Law School. Ivette has worked for a legal non-profit organization assisting with immigration cases before the United States Citizenship Immigration Services for four years. Before she opened Campbell and Furneisen, she worked at a law firm for 3 years.
She is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in the State of Maryland, District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Ivette has had to experience the immigration process herself in order to obtain her citizenship and settle in this country, so she understands what it takes to navigate the sometimes difficult process of immigration.
